The iCard Partners Portal is a dedicated platform designed for our trusted partners. As a partner, you can easily create applications for business accounts and request physical terminals, providing a complete solution for your clients. Our seamless process ensures that we can efficiently expand our network and grow our businesses together.
What should I do if the merchant wants to return the terminal?
If the client changes their mind, they can return the physical terminal within 14 days of the original handling date and receive a full refund of the amount paid. The terminal must be returned with the full packaging intact and in the same condition it was handed over (e.g., undamaged and in full working order).
If the 14-day period has passed, the merchant can still return the terminal and cancel the service for accepting card payments at any time.
Please note that for each returned device, you should contact our team, so that we can make the necessary adjustments and deactivate it in the system. Once you receive the returned terminal, send us an e-mail at partners.portal@icard.com, including the device serial number. Note that once the terminal is deactivated, all data associated with the merchant account will be cleared.
It is strongly recommended that you inform merchants not to dispose of the POS terminal, including its battery and other components, with general household waste, but only in specially designated collection points for electronic devices.
If the terminal is in good condition, it can be resold as a second-hand device and linked to another merchant's account. As an iCard reseller, this decision is entirely yours. iCard has sold the terminals to you, and you have full discretion on how to proceed if the returned device is not damaged.
However, iCard is not responsible for reselling POS devices that are faulty or broken. If a used device is given to another client in poor condition, iCard will not be liable. We strongly recommend inspecting the device carefully before reselling it as a second-hand device. If you notice any damage or issues, please contact us for further advice.
Before handing the terminal to a new client, ensure to turn it on and enter the SIM card details since after the reset the connection settings will be reverted to default. See how to do it here.
